The average studio monitor size range (in recording studios and home setups) is around 5 – 8 inches, if you have a larger space then you can get bigger ones as well. The ones in this list are tried and tested, and will give you relatively good results. However, not all small monitors are created equal. With most, you will have issues hearing the low end, which will directly impact your mix. If you’re looking for small studio monitors that fit your current setup perfectly then the first thing we’d like to say is that getting monitors smaller than 5 inches is generally not a good idea.
